Assignment B Scoop it: What is Born Digital Fiction?

First off, i think this is only a snippet of what "Born Digital Fiction" means. As i look through the web for examples and cool representations of what i have just learned, i find myself asking and answering questions on the way. There are so many forms of born digital fiction i feel as though i could continue my "Scoop it!" forever.

This activity could easily be the start of a larger project or essay for me. I could dive more into the different forms, and how each of these forms translates for the reader. The effects of the different forms of digital fiction, the uses of each type, analytics of the different forms and what impact born digital fiction has on artists. Again it feels endless to me.

Please check out my "Scoop it!" post here

After i decided to choose the topic "Born Digital Fiction" i went to work searching on Google and YouTube for different sites that referenced this. Starting off with the exact phrase Born Digital Fiction, and morphing my search to key in on certain forms of it like "Interactive Gaming", "Choose Your Own Adventure Online", "Digital Storytelling", "Digital Strategies", "Reading Online" and more varied forms of what it is. I also used some words of what i thought an example of it would be that popped in my head during the class. The game Heavy Rain was one that i searched specifically because it was a game that i had played in the past and i felt it was a great representation of what being "Born Digital Fiction" meant to me.
Because this is a class about Social Media i also wanted to include how this all tied into what we are doing for the Social Media Marketing and Communications citation. I feel the "Secret Sauce" sheds some light on how learning about what is "Born Digital Fiction" can tie back into what we are taking the course for. To become better in the Social Media world. We are all here to gain more knowledge and skills to navigate, construct and tell stories on Social Media. Or at least know the reasons why Social Media strategist's do what they do.
I wanted to include a few different forms of elements to get my point across in my Scoop it post because we talked about "Trans-literacy" today and I felt it was relevant to use in the exercise. I literally feel like I have created my own "Born Digital Fiction" with my post. With the different forms in it I believe it would not be able to be recreated in a paper back form. It was important to me to include images, video, interactive animation, with my text to give life to my Scoop it.
I feel as though including many examples of being "Born Digital Fiction" my audience will be able to know what that means. Again, i think this could also be the start of something much deeper but i do feel the question is answered.
